St Anthony Main

On Friday 8/1/08 it was so perfect out that we decided to take a stroll and we ended up at St Anthony Main and although I didn't capture it exactly I was able to capture enough to remind me in mid February why we are still here.

Urban Camera Safari

We happend on some black cubes on the stone arch bridge that show photos of athletes in action. I gather these have traveled the US. http://www.redbullillume.com/?cmd=frontendFrameset so we took advantage and did some shots using the cubes to give us some interesting reflections.

Random Minneapolis Shots from the Stone Arch Bridge to the car before the storm hits.

We were really excited to get some pictures and start posting. The original theme was going to be "Black and White" but with severe weather warnings we got what we could get as fast as we could get it but this is what it looked like when we started.

They had some interesting reflective boxes on the bride which made for some interesting shots.

Click in the entry for more info on these boxes.

Northern California Feb 2006

We went to Chico, CA for my Brothers wedding on 02/28/2006. After the wedding we headed to Santa Cruz, CA for the first stop of our extended weekend and the follow few shots were in Big Basin State Park on our way.

Redwoods are AMAZINGLY HUGE.

Welcome to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It was exactly the same as I remember it so many years ago.

I think this was an abandonedmilitary base I believe near Half Moon Bay, CA. There were no gates or anything preventing access to just about anywhere you wanted to go, it was like everyone decided to get up and leave at the same time.

Of course every scary movie I had ever seen came to mind all at the same time so we didn't venture in too far

Half Moon Bay, CA. on the beach there were dozens of these little sculptors huts.

Besides this being a light house between Half Moon Bay and San Francisco in a city called Montara, CA this is also a very cute Hostel with some incredible views.

San Francisco, CA. - How I miss you... Sometimes.

All the years I lived just outside of San Francisco I STILL have never been on a Cable Car.

Alcatraz Island and yes the streets really are that steep.
